Counseling is available virtually for clients throughout Oklahoma and beyond.
The name “Living Water” comes from Scripture and points to the Holy Spirit — the Wonderful Counselor who comforts, convicts, guides, and brings hope to hurting people. Every counseling session begins with prayer and a dependence upon the Holy Spirit to lead our time together. We believe the Bible is not only spiritually true, but deeply relevant and sufficient for the struggles people face today.

What Is Biblical Counseling?
Biblical counseling is discipleship-centered care that seeks to help people grow closer to Christ in the middle of suffering, sin, confusion, fear, grief, and hardship. Rather than relying primarily on worldly philosophies, biblical counseling carefully looks to God’s Word to understand the heart, apply truth, and bring lasting hope through the gospel.
At Living Water Biblical Counseling, we strive to create a counseling environment where people feel known, loved, heard, and cared for. Counseling is not cold or distant. We believe God designed His people to walk together in unity — rejoicing with those who rejoice and weeping with those who weep.
This ministry approach allows counseling relationships to extend beyond a weekly appointment. Biblical counseling provides the freedom to genuinely walk alongside counselees through life’s difficult moments with prayer, encouragement, compassion, and truth.

Virtual Biblical Counseling in Oklahoma and Beyond
Living Water Biblical Counseling offers both in-person and virtual biblical counseling sessions. While virtual counseling is available for individuals throughout Oklahoma and other locations where services may be provided, in-person counseling is preferred whenever possible for those living in or near Hollis, Oklahoma.
Biblical counseling is deeply relational and ministry-centered. Sitting together face-to-face allows for a greater sense of personal connection, discipleship, encouragement, prayer, and unity while walking through life’s struggles together. One of the unique blessings of biblical counseling is the ability to truly know and care for people beyond simply meeting through a screen.
For those near Hollis, in-person counseling creates opportunities for deeper fellowship, ongoing encouragement, and more personal ministry as we seek to bear one another’s burdens and point one another to Christ.
Virtual counseling remains a flexible option for individuals who live farther away, have scheduling limitations, or are unable to attend sessions in person.

Counseling Philosophy, Training, & Experience
Living Water Biblical Counseling is led by Kendi Perkins, who holds a Master’s degree in Addiction Counseling and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling through Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Kendi completed more than 300 graduate-level counseling internship hours working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, postpartum challenges, OCD, ADHD, and other life difficulties. Through both theological and counseling training, she has developed experience carefully interpreting and applying Scripture to real-life struggles with compassion and wisdom.
Because biblical counseling is ministry-centered and rooted in humility before the Lord, Kendi also regularly seeks wisdom, guidance, and accountability from experienced biblical counselors, pastors, and church leaders. She values continued learning, discipleship, and counsel from mature believers in order to faithfully care for counselees with wisdom, humility, and biblical integrity.
Living Water Biblical Counseling intentionally operates as a ministry-centered biblical counseling practice rather than a state-licensed clinical counseling office. This allows counseling to remain fully centered on Scripture, prayer, discipleship, and walking closely alongside counselees as brothers and sisters in Christ.
My counseling philosophy is rooted in the belief that Scripture is sufficient for teaching, correcting, encouraging, and equipping believers for life and godliness. We believe the Holy Spirit actively works through God’s Word to bring wisdom, healing, conviction, comfort, and transformation.

How is biblical counseling different from secular psychology?
Biblical counseling is centered on God’s truth rather than human philosophy alone. While secular psychology often focuses primarily on behavior, emotions, or self-focused solutions, biblical counseling looks at the whole person: mind, body, and spirit, through the lens of Scripture. It emphasizes repentance, renewal of the mind, spiritual healing, and lasting transformation through Christ.
What are your counseling rates?
Sessions are $50 per session. This rate helps support the time, prayer, preparation, and Scripture study that go into providing thoughtful, Christ-centered care. Each session is approached with intentional preparation and dependence on the Holy Spirit so that counseling remains personal, prayerful, and rooted in God’s Word.
The cost also helps sustain the quality and consistency of care provided through Living Water Biblical Counseling.
